Refund policy

We have a 7 day online purchase return policy, which means you have 7 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We reserve the right to reject returns that don't fit the return criteria. Delivery costs are non-refundable. All returns are at your own expense.

Please send an email to info@mcalpinesa.com to arrange for returns/refunds with the subject “Return Order and Invoice Number”. You are responsible for shipping/dropping off your return. After receiving and inspecting the item, you will receive notification via email confirming the outcome of your return. If a product refund was approved, please allow 3-5 business days for the value of the product, minus initial delivery cost, to reflect in your account as we will refund via EFT.

Should the refund inspection not meet our criteria resulting in rejecting the refund, the parcel will be returned to you. This delivery must be arranged by you, where you will have 2 weeks to make arrangements for a reputable courier to collect. No responsibility will be taken for the parcel after 2 weeks as we can't hold on to parcels indefinitely.

Should you opt for an exchange, items may be exchanged for a different style that is not on SALE – however, you are responsible for the difference should it be greater than the returned item price. Should the difference be less, we will refund you with the amount via EFT, please allow 3-5 business days for it to reflect in your account. R60 courier fee will apply for re-delivery. 

We regret that items bought on SALE are non-refundable/returnable/exchangeable.

We regret items bought at external markets are non-refundable as a sales commission is paid to markets which creates a huge loss for our business. We do want to assist you as much as possible by offering an exchange, depending on stock availability. 

Returns on items bought at our various stockists will follow individual return policies of these stores, we do not exchange/refund/return any items bought from our stockists and visa-versa. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (same day of receiving item)if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note that no refund/exchange can be made on items damaged by not following the correct care instructions, please insure to read all care instructions on labels (care instructions are also available online, under product description). 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as underwear/swimwear/masks). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
